From February 1-15 eazy bean will donate 10% of all online sales to Shelterboxusa.org for immediate shelter needs to Haiti.
Each box supplies an extended family of up to 10 people, a tent and lifesaving equipment (water purification system for 6 months, blankets, cooking utensils to name a few) to use while they are displaced or homeless. The contents are tailored depending on the nature and location of the disaster.
Record numbers of shelter boxes have already been deployed to Haiti. As of January 25, 2010 Shelterbox has provided emergency shelter for more than 20,000 people in Port-au-Prince and the surrounding areas.
An estimated 1 million Haitian people remain homeless. We believe in Shelterboxes efforts in getting shelter to Haiti in a timely mater.
